Tom Cruise and fiancée Katie Holmes face the world's press and work the crowds. Thousands gathered in the sweltering heat to greet the pair at the UK Premiere of War Of The Worlds, the heartthrob's new blockbuster. Cruise's co-star Dakota Fanning who plays his daughter Rachel in the movie was also in attendance.

Sir Micheal Caine, Katie Holmes and Morgan Freeman joined fellow Batman Begins cast members Christian Bale, Cillian Murphy, Colin McFarlane and Director Christopher Nolan for the European Premiere at the Odeon, Leciester Square.
